AITSL Digital Guide

The AITSL Digital Guide provides an overview of our digital standards, approaches and processes, which enable us to create consistent and engaging experiences across all of our digital products.

Welcome

Working on digital products takes time and involves multiple stages and stakeholders.

The Brand, Comms and Digital Team have created this guide to make it easier for you to understand the standards and steps used to deliver great digital products.

What is a digital product?

A digital product is a software-enabled product or service that offers utility to our users. Digital products go through different life cycle stages: they are created and launched; they develop, grow, mature; and eventually, they retire. They create specific value for our users that's achieved by solving a problem — think of how the Teacher Self-Assessment Tool helps to address the challenge of teachers accurately assessing their practice against the Teacher Standards — or by providing a benefit — think of how the online HALT Network allows highly accomplished and lead teachers to better connect and share expertise.

AITSL's Digital Standards

These standards ensure that AITSL designs and delivers digital products that meet best-practice principles and compliance requirements.
